Indonesia - 26 September, 2019
Mobilising More for Climate (MoMo4C) is a program that aims to contribute to inclusive climate resilient landscapes where multiple stakeholders, including local communities and private actors, collaborate on managing the role that ecosystems play in climate adaptation, mitigation and sustainable development. The program is implemented by the partners IUCN-NL, WWF-NL and Tropenbos International (TBI) network, in six landscapes in five countries, where Tropenbos Indonesia (TI) is responsible for the implementation of the program in the landscape Ketapang-Kayong Utara, in the West Kalimantan province. The program seeks to address climate action in relation to ecosystem services and a series of commodities based on different landscape based approaches. It proposes to develop innovative, sustainable business and finance models that can be scaled up and out to other landscapes and other countries. Simultaneously, it proposes to strengthen and work with local organizations and build on previous landscape experiences. TI collaborates with TBI in the Netherlands in the implementation of MoMo4C.
